BACKGROUND & HISTORY: The youngest brother, Daniel often feels misunderstood at home. His parents typically overlook him in favor of his shining older brothers and darling younger sister. He harbors no resentment for this position, as it turns out. Daniel likes feeling free of the pressure he observes weighing on his brothers. Daniel harbors more artistic leanings and likes to express himself through his art. Quiet and observant, Daniel sometimes uses his own invisibility to his advantage. He knows more of his family’s secrets than he should, which might, someday, come to haunt him. Daniel is close with his sister June, and will do anything to protect her. All of the Thornton boys are, but Daniel especially.
