"Doesn't it always?" Daniel said, leaning in for another kiss. She seemed
surprised that he was so keen to see her like this, but they were always so
buttoned up with family around or keeping up appearances. This was just
them, finally, properly just them and she was beautiful in her relaxation.
He indulged for another few moments before he took her hand and led her into
the kitchen and poured her a glass, handing it to her with a what was no
doubt a really dumb grin on his face. "So have you had a good week? I feel
like I haven't seen you forever. I know that's dumb..." He said rolling
his eyes.
